Cinco De Mayo – one of our favorite holidays. Because what better than a non-judgmental vacation to binge on deliciously greasy tacos and tasty tequila cocktails?
In honor of this wonderful holiday, we’ve rounded up some cinco de mayo cocktail recipes for you to enjoy!

Okay, this classic margarita recipe is really simple – designed for those who prefer to spend time drinking rather than making a drink. Whether you like it blended or on ice, either way, this is the easiest margarita you can make:
- 2 ounces of Tequila Blanco 1800
- 4 oz Jose Cuervo margarita mix
Pour over ice or mix the ingredients in a blender with ice. Add a slice of lime to garnish.

- 2 ounces Espolon white tequila
- 1 ounce Ancho Reyes chili liqueur (add another ounce to increase the heat)

If you’re looking for something a little different, perhaps a more “adult” margarita, this cocktail is for you. This mezcal margarita recipe uses the simplest ingredients to make a smoky margarita. Really impress your friends with this special Cinco De Mayo cocktail recipe.
- 2 ounces of Montelobos Mezcal Espadin
- 1 ounce agave syrup
- 1 ounce lime juice
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker, shake for 15 seconds. Pour the contents of the shaker into a glass filled with ice. Add a slice of lime to garnish
For those who like it sweet, we have the perfect margarita for you. The sweetness and sourness blend together so beautifully that you’ll forget there’s tequila in it!
- 2 ounces of Exotico Tequila Blanco
- 1 ounce of Dekuyper Triple Sec
- 1-2 splashes of rose grenadine
- Juice of half a lime
Mix all the ingredients in a shaker and add ice. Shake and pour into a coupe (or champagne) glass rimmed with salt. This cocktail keeps Cinco De Mayo classy.
Alas… the queen of margaritas – Margarita herself. A margarita made the way margaritas should be: high-quality ingredients combined for the freshest, tastiest margarita.
