Tell us about the projects you are working on.
After hosting my first successful music festival, Rockstarr Music Festival, I am now working on another community event to celebrate Trina Day. This year, it’s a dedication to my late niece, and we’re calling it “Welcome to Sugaland.”
Plus, I’m finalizing some new music material, so I’m back in the studio when I can make time to tour and be on the road.
Additionally, I am currently filming the new season of Love and Hip Hop: Miami.
With your busy schedule, what do you like to do in your free time?
When I’m not touring, in the studio, or working on my other professional endeavors, I enjoy being at home with my family and friends. On the days I’m not on the road or in work mode, it’s all about pampering myself, taking care and enjoying the moments as much as possible.

When you go out to eat, where do you like to dine?
I love seafood, so there are a few places I like to dine in Miami. My top two places are Miami Fingalicking Restaurant and Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen, located in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.
What types of dishes do you usually order?
The dishes I usually order are steamed lobster and escovitch snapper.
Favorite bars?
Miami has a diverse nightlife; you can find a diverse mix of places to live in the city.
Some of my favorite bars that I like to go to are Studio 183 and Klub 24. But I love eating in bars, so again, I like Dukunoo because they have good food, good music, atmosphere and drinks.
What drinks do you order when you go out?
Honestly, it depends on my mood. Some days it might be champagne and other days it might be their liqueurs, mainly NYAK cognac or their eaux-de-vie. When I’m not drinking cognac, I’m a tequila girl.
Do you prepare drinks at home?
Yes, I like to entertain my family and friends when I am at home. Some of my favorite mixes are:
The nastiest fishing
my signature drink

NYAK’s master blender has selected the finest French brandies and flavored them with premium aromas while maintaining NYAK’s signature sweetness. NYAK Peach aims for an aroma of ripe, sun-kissed summer peach while bringing notes of vanilla and French pastry with hints of spice, while NYAK Cinnamon Fiyah aims for an aroma of spicy cinnamon with hints of French brandy from vanilla and caramel immersed in chili.
Tell us about your home bar. What is it filled with?
My home bar has a mix of different brands of spirits and alcohol. I make sure the ambiance and variety is well stocked because when I have guests over I make sure the bar can cater for every possible drink they want.
Have you ever been a bartender?
No, I’ve never been a bartender, but I have bartender friends who showed me some cocktail mixes that I like to make. Plus, I love the different NYAK blends which are both refreshing and delicious.
If you could share a drink with anyone, who would it be?
If I could share a drink with anyone, it would be the iconic and legendary Beyoncé.
