If you’ve waited all summer to find the sexy and curvy swimsuits of your dreams, summer is not over Again. And luckily for all of us plus-size villains, Nina Sharae Resort & Plus Size Swimwear offers quality materials and sexy designs available all year round. CEO and Founder Nina Sharae Gives Girls Exactly what they want (and has been ask) to look amazing beach side
It’s not just about Nina Sharae’s sex appeal. For this 30-something swimwear designer, it’s more about rolling out the red carpet in the form of representation, understanding and empathy that makes her a designer you want to know.

I don’t know how you feel about being seen in a “fatkini” bathing suit or one-piece, but I love it and always want the other plus size villains to feel the same way.
(Important note: you’re a bad guy even if you think you’re not!)
In Sharae’s words, “I’m still naked. I love being naked”, and the freedom of not thinking too much while wearing a bathing suit is amazing! The feeling of awareness you look good gives off the most indescribable burst of energy from “HELL YES”. Nina Sharae brought all that energy (and more) to Miami Swim Week 2023 with the Nina Sharae Experience.
Nina Sharae has a question: “Where are the flying swimsuits?!”
With her energy and confidence brimming throughout the interview, it’s no secret that Nina Sharae’s incredible personality is sewn into every swimsuit she creates.

Promoting great body positivity, incredible fashion sense and the confidence to step out in one of her famous swimwear designs, Sharae doesn’t want her audience/shoppers to feel less than fabulous. And with 10 years of designing swimwear under her belt, Nina knows a thing or two about creating a quality unit that’s good enough to get wet, and even better to be seen.
At her recent all-size plus-size fashion show, she was able to show off her talents and love for exclusive swimwear designs, one design at a time. However, before there was a “Nina Sharae Experience,” Nina was a hopeful designer who wondered, “Where are the fly swimsuits?”

“The frustration comes from the fact that I don’t have many swimsuit options. I wanted to create swimsuits that looked sexy. At the time, everything that came out (regarding the production of swimsuits bathing suit) was black, brown and blue; grandma and hibiscus print. If I want to be baecation with my man, I don’t want to look like his grandma or his mom. I want to look like his wife,” Sharae shared.
Let’s be real – Nina Sharae is right. Plus size swimsuits were not always attractive, or sexy as he is now. I remember shopping at Walmart in my early twenties and not seeing the kind of selection with sex appeal that I would have liked to see as a young woman showing off my curves for a pool party or a trip. to the beach.
My boyfriends always had fun and flirty swimwear options that would make them look fantastic. I’ve always wanted the same experience…but with a bit more gear.

“For me, it’s not just a question of swimsuits. It’s about promoting trust. If I can help you build your confidence through my swimwear and show the world that we’re not lazy as plus size people, that’s my goal. We are not lazy! We are desirable! We love luxury things! We push foreigners! We love jets! We are on yachts!
Nina Sharae, CEO and Founder of Nina Sharae Resort & Swimwear
Nina Sharae Resort & Swimwear is showing the world that – yes, plus size swimwear can be made to look great. Plus size swimwear can embody confidence, flirtation, fun and sensuality. The Nina Sharae experience is finally part of the plus size community of this experience.
The big plus size swimwear buzz started around 2014-2015 when the plus community first got our selection of sexy and (sometimes) affordable swimwear with matching accessories. If you look at the evolution of plus size fashion over the past (almost) two decades, it’s easy to see the rise, fall and stability of some of our favorite plus size fashion brands and designers.
With the recent pandemic and current economic climate, it’s always refreshing to see when a brand has weathered the storm, creating longevity and brand power before us to witness it. The Nina Sharae brand is no different.

Currently, the designer aims to promote her brand through collaborations with cruise ship destinations and resorts, as well as other plus-size fashion-focused retail brands.
It’s hard to limit the time I spend talking about Nina Sharae and her brand’s backstory, but her epic activation, “The Nina Sharae Experience” is begging to speak.
Imagine this: fabulous models overlooking the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach walking to music that makes it hard to sit still, the palpable energy of the crowd and the endless fun of partying on a yacht for the ride! You’ll definitely want to get your girlfriends together or plan a solo trip to Miami for the 2024 Nina Sharae Experience.
The 2023 Nina Sharae Experience at Miami Swim Week
In July, Nina Sharae promised to “show them how a production is supposed to be made for plus girls!” at Miami Swim Week and *spoiler alert* she delivered.
Showcasing different ethnicities, genders, and body types, Nina wanted to show Miami that there’s more to beauty than the one-size-fits-all version society likes to shove down our throats without the seasoning. I had the opportunity to sit down with Nina, get the juicy details regarding all things Nina Sharae and her legacy as a plus size swimwear designer.
“I didn’t know you were going to crack like that.”
2023 Miami Swim Week Participant
Sharing the overwhelmingly positive feedback from her positive and positive swimming event, Nina welcomed the warm embrace of being able to celebrate her 10th anniversary. The models enjoyed walking for her, the crowds witnessed what many called an “incredible” show, and Nina was able to throw the Miami party in a way her guests weren’t expecting.
No detail was spared, as best exemplified by her signature cocktail, “The Nina Sharae Experience”, served by her sponsor, Duke and Lady. Having models of all sizes, ethnicities, heights and body types, Nina was able to challenge an old norm of simply presenting the “socially acceptable” plus size body. (You know this one: just barely borderline between straight and tall)
With comments acknowledging how “Refreshing (it was) to see women who looked like them parade on the catwalks”, Nina doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. She’s busy ushering in a wave of confident curves showcasing her esteemed swimwear.
In fact, this is its ultimate goal:
“For me, it’s not just a question of swimsuits. It’s about promoting trust. If I can help boost your confidence through my swimwear and show the world that we’re not lazy as plus size people, that’s my goal. We are not lazy! We are desirable! We love luxury things! We push foreigners! We love jets! We are on yachts!
That’s my vision for Nina Sharae because I do all of that. So my thing is, if I can do it, I want you all to do it. I don’t want you to be scared on the beach because you think people are watching you. We’re not looking at you, girl! If someone is looking at you, they’re looking at your confidence!”, Sharae says.
I wanted to shout “ALLELUJAH!” throughout the interview because Nina Sharae spoke to my soul. As a plus size woman who absolutely LOVES to wear sexy swimsuits, I’ve been the butt of ugly looks before.

We all Know the warmth felt by someone thinking you shouldn’t be wearing a certain something, or that infamous, “Who does she think she is?” vibe that may be unwarranted. To these people, I always wanted to say, “STOP HATING! Plus size swimsuits aren’t going anywhere…and it’s PERIOD! »
When asked about the 2024 event, Nina said, “It’s going to be BIGGER and BETTER!” To that, I raise a toast to its success and growth! You can see Miami Swim Week’s Nina Sharae show on Youtube.
