Next… Milan Fashion Week!! After witnessing an astonishing scene with unprecedented energy in New York (read what I wore for NYFW here!), I took the plane to Milan. I always LOVE going to Milan during fashion month because it’s a city where I find so many new, creative ways to style myself. Plus, I’ve been trying to improve my own fashion by wearing different hairstyles to match the vibe of my outfits!! Here are some of the best looks I wore for MFW!
Oversized with a nod to the year 2000
Let’s be real, oversized never gets old! There’s a reason why fashion keeps coming back to it. And, based on the shows I’ve seen, skinny jeans are still on the back burner at the moment. But that suits me perfectly, because what’s most important to me is the type of silhouettes I like to create. This look is one of my favorite classics!! I wore a bodysuit Top Balmain with low-waisted parachute pants (these are men of GU store). The hi-lo style technique is one that, if done right, is so amazing (and yes, that belly is a not-so-subtle nod to the year 2000!) For me though, the Loewe boots are the real scene stealers. Maybe a little controversial for some. But I love them. I also love the energy this look gives me!
Forever Animal Prints
For the Robert Cavalli during the show, I wore this STUNNING two-piece skirt from the designer. Can we just take a moment for this huge A-line skirt situation!!! And what’s more, the animal skin effect embossed in the fabric gives a touch of freshness to the feminine look! It was dangerous to wear, considering how incredibly good I felt moving in a skirt like that. To finish this look, I wore Alexander McQueen Sunglassesand Robert Cavalli shoes and mini bag.
Models to your advantage
A major element that I wanted not to miss during my stay in Milan was to present a look with PATTERN, PRINT and COLOR! If there’s one fashion city that’s number one when it comes to pattern creations, it’s Milan. This crazy dress The Double J, it was perfection for me. Look how the bright pattern of the dress envelops my body. One of my favorite uses of a pattern on clothing to date!! Trust me, I’m not leaving any crumbs this fashion month. Which looks from Milan Fashion Week were your favorite?
