Members of the Choice Hotels Privileges Awards will be able to use their points for unique experiences at college football and basketball games, including free hotel nights.
With college football season fast approaching, Choice Hotels wants to get you closer to the game with your hard-earned points.
The hotel company announced the second season of Choice Privileges Experiences in partnership with LEARFIELD, offering 47 total redeemable experiences at 18 NCAA Division 1 schools.
Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Wisconsin participate in the Choice promotion
Under the renewed program, Choice Privileges members can use their points for “exclusive college football and basketball experiences during the 2023-2024 season.” Some of the biggest names in college sports take part, including the University of Alabama, University of Florida, University of Michigan, University of Oklahoma, Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin.
While the plans are great for ultimate fans, they come at a steep price and come with some limitations. During football season, experiences are only valid for limited dates. Packages start at 25,000 points, rising to 175,000 points for gold-level experiences at prestigious universities.
For example: Alabama’s Gold Package includes pre-game hospitality passes, a pre-game escorted field visit and up to $1,500 in travel vouchers, but no hotel stay. The Ohio State package includes many of the same perks for the same price, but also includes a two-night stay at the Choice Hotel. Lower-tier packages cost between 50,000 and 100,000 points and offer even more limited choices and no hotel stays.
The full range of football season packages are available at Choice Hotel website. Basketball packages will be announced closer to the start of the season.
University package renewal comes as Choice adds Radisson Hotels to its program
The renewed package for college sports fans follows Choice’s integration of Radisson hotels into their system. THE former properties of Radisson Hotels Americas became bookable through Choice in July 2023, giving travelers a seamless way to book and earn points at more than 7,400 hotels.
