Final Thoughts: Broken Stone Gamay Noir Barrel Reserve 2020
Gamay wines aren’t something I come across very often, so this Gamay Noir from Broken Stone Winery was a real treat.
What’s great about this wine is that you can pair it with just about any food, from pizza to steak and everything in between. Medium-high acidity and medium tannins make this Broken Stone Gamay Noir Barrel Reserve one of the smoothest wines I’ve come across.
Of course, you can also enjoy it alone at any time.
With or without food, this is a light, approachable, flavorful and easy-to-sip wine that should appeal to a wide range of wine drinkers. If you really want to enjoy this wine at its best, serve it in a large Burgundian-style glass bowl to get the full effect of the unique bouquet. The care and patience that went into this wine is clearly evident in the final product.
The Broken Stone Gamay Noir Barrel Reserve 2020 is one you can confidently serve or indulge in any time.
