The category is BEY, and we all know that she herself never fails. Leave it to Queen Beyoncé to stop 2023, just like it started it… with a BANG!
With the theme “Cozy Opulence,” there was no shortage of luxurious and sumptuous ensembles on the chrome red carpet. If you thought the celebrities came with their A-game on the Renaissance tour, think again because the fashion was even grander at the film premiere.
The Houston native, 42, who arguably served up the most edgy and edgy look than any celebrity this year, arrived in a custom strapless Versace dress in platinum, which hugged her curves and was characterized by a cone-shaped bust and a deep plunging neckline.
Her long silver opera gloves kept the Renaissance theme, and “Alien Superstar”‘s long, light platinum blonde hair was sleek, ethereal and almost dreamlike.
Her sister in crime, Kelly Rowland also opted for a cone-shaped bust and dazzled in a silver Jean Paul Gaultier dress designed by Julien Dossena. Rowland’s curly bob and silver mule heels gave us old Hollywood glamor and she looked like a black Marilyn Monroe.
Destinys Child member Michelle Williams represented the latest Project Runway All-Stars winner, Bishme Cromartie, who stunned in an edgy black dress that brought the drama and had one of the most innovative silhouettes of the evening.
Additionally, former Destinys Child members Letoya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson have both opted to go max.
Luckett wore a Rick Owens long-sleeve leather dress that was super bold with her platinum blonde pixie haircut, and Roberson served up plenty of cutouts, baring skin with a diamond-adorned patch to cover the left side breasts.
Sister duo Halle and Chloe Bailey also made a dramatic appearance, with Halle doing her best to cover her baby bump in a black Lost in Echo coat. Chloe, on the other hand, made quite a statement in a regal purple LaQuan Smith dress that had a centered cutout and draped impeccably at the waist.
“About Damn Time” singer Lizzo made an unforgettable entrance in an all-white custom ensemble from Maison Harry Halim that had ruffles on her satin skirt and jacket. Her pointed-toe lace-up heels and diamond jewelry let us know she doesn’t. I don’t play when it comes to Bey. All right!
Lori Harvey, who is also clearly a Beyoncé fan according to her 2022 Halloween costume where she dressed up as Beyoncé in the “Check on It” music videoattended the premiere in a vintage black Thierry Mugler dress with cold shoulders and feather details.
She topped off her mini dress with scrappy sandals and a bronze flapper, and from the looks of it, she’s not losing any sleep over her latest breakup with actor Damson Idris.
As you can see, celebrities have been doing their best to celebrate Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour Concert film and we can’t wait to see how fans sparkle and shine in theaters this Friday when the film debuts on December 1st.
